Apprentice Training Curriculum

The Serve Academy Electrical Apprenticeship Program combines online learning, classroom instruction, hands-on training, leadership development, and real-world field experience to prepare apprentices for a successful career as a licensed journeyman electrician. Over four years, apprentices develop the technical knowledge, practical skills, and leadership abilities needed to excel both in the field and in their careers.

The Four Year Journey

  • Nationally-Accredited Curriculum

Our nationally-accepted electrical curriculum serves as our base classroom training for electrical theory.

  • Code Class

This class aims to take the confusion and intimidation out of the NEC NFPA 70 Electrical Code.

  • Electrical Theory

This course teaches the basics of electricity—how it's generated, used, and calculated—so you can understand circuit behavior and how electricity flows back to its source.

  • Safety Training

Safety is our top priority. Each class, we deep dive on a specific safety topic and do hands-on practice.

  • Practical / Hands-On

From pipe bending to understanding circuits, our goal is for each Apprentice to be well-versed in practical skills before they step on-site.

  • Serve Empowerment

From emotional intelligence to financial wellness, our goal is for Apprentices to not only be better at work, but better at home and in life.
